Gil has complementary areas of expertise in public and private project financing, with significant experience in the bond structuring and placements arena. He routinely works with a diverse client base. For example, he counsels major financial institutions and multi-national design and construction practices on the full range of perspectives on real estate development, securities, and capital markets.

In private law practice, Gil worked for Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, an elite international law firm notable for its representation of the financial services industry. He also served as general counsel and corporate counsel for various companies under the Burns & Roe Group, an engineering, procurement, and construction firm with private and government clients worldwide.

Investment Banker & Real Estate Financing Expert

Post private law practice, Gil serves as a senior investment banker with several major bond firms. He manages several independent project finance and securities firms. This knowledge area builds on his earlier experiences as Director of the Real Estate Group at the Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. Subsequent to this position, Gil headed the Project Finance Group at Ehrlich Bober & Co., Inc., a New York-based national bond firm.

Gil served as Law Secretary to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit (Hon. S.R. Waterman, C.J.) and as an officer of several ABA Committees, including the Committee on Federal Securities Regulations and the Section on Public Contract Law.
